Capturing a Yurt Raising on Video

The raising of a Yurt is always a topic that we discuss with individuals looking into purchasing the product.  “Is it difficult?”   “What is involved?”  are some of the questions we hear.

Because of these questions, Rainier recently worked with one of our customers, the Paca Pride Guest Ranch in Granite Falls, Washington, to capture their 30’ Eagle Yurt raising on video so others can see the actual process involved. 

A few staff members from Rainier were on site for 2 full days in April to participate in the building of this beautiful Yurt that the Ranch plans to use as a Round House for their Mountain Retreat (www.pacapride.com). 

It was a beautiful and serene environment to spend 2 days watching a Yurt being raised – and the Alpacas and Llamas added some additional fun to the experience.
